The Subway Series Workshop:
The Art of Graffiti

Is there a renegade artist in you longing to express itself? Would you like to join the aerosol culture that has gone global and be a paint-splattered teen? Then join me in this fun-filled workshop as you explore the world of graffiti art created by the international youth culture. Vibrant, alive and pulsing with energy, this magnificent art form gives voice to what already exists in you and is yearning to be said.

This is a series of 24 workshops that begin with pencil, eraser and paper, and move into colored pencil, gel pen, and oil pastels. As you take part in a series of exercises designed to develop your unique style you will gain skill and competence through a series of exercises. No prior art instruction or skill is required.

The Subwway Series Workshop meets two times per week, for twelve weeks. The workshop includes all materials.
